Arrests over suspected luxury-car tax fraud in Germany and four other EU countries

The EPPO said 13 people were arrested in Germany and Austria; more than 50 suspects are under investigation. The authority estimates the suspected scheme caused losses of about €100 million. More than 900 personnel took part in raids on Wednesday in Austria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Germany and Poland, the report said.
